Geoffrey Rowlandson

Born into a family of fashion and jewellery, Geoffrey Rowlandson started the Rowlandson company to focus on bespoke classic jewellery designs. About twenty years ago the Rowlandson Unique Collection began as a means of seamlessly blending the worlds of art and jewellery. Geoffrey's design prowess was recognised by the Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths to grant him the 'Jewellery Designer of the Year' award twice, in 1998-1999, and again in 2002-2003, in addition to numerous commended awards including one in 2002 for Me and My Shadow.

International visitors to the Victoria and Albert Museum have also had the opportunity to view Rowlandson's designs in the Tiara exhibition of 2002, and the Pearl exhibition of 2013, where three pieces were chosen, including Me and My Shadow, The Statue of Liberty, and Grand Jeté which was an exhibition signature piece.

More recently The Royal Christening brooch was awarded a commendation by The Worshipful Company of Goldsmiths in 2014.

Rowlandson continues to create these signed pieces with amazing originality and whimsy, and the fact that the presentation box that accompany his pieces are designed with back easels to demonstrate their role as not only one-of-a-kind jewels, but also as miniature works of art to be displayed and admired.

Lindsay Rowlandson Allen

Lindsay Rowlandson Allen has over 25 years of experience in the jewellery industry, specialising in custom-made engagement rings, wedding rings, and eternity rings. Lindsay undertakes bespoke commissions, designing beautifully handcrafted, unique pieces that are sensitive to the client's nuanced desires and preferences. While clients range in their level of involvement in the design process, all pieces are characterised by the highest calibre of workmanship, acute attention to detail and the finest quality finish. Prices have ranged from £3,500 up to six figures.

In other cases, Lindsay has offered a redesign service which provides a means to breathe a fresh lease of life into inherited jewellery. In many instances these are pieces which have great sentimental value but lack contemporary aesthetic appeal - a redesign can transform such items into a something attractive and wearable which nonetheless retain their poignance, meaning and emotional significance.

Aside from design and redesign, Lindsay often showcases the classic Rowlandson's collection, including items such as diamond stud earrings, drop earrings, pendants, bracelets and bangles. All viewing and design services are by appointment only.
